Terms of use
Last updated: April 2026
These terms govern your use of lawconnect.space and related services operated by Law Connect (“we”, “us”). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Not legal advice
The site provides general information, software-style drafting tools, and a way to connect with independent advocates. Nothing on the site is legal advice. A lawyer–client relationship is formed only with the advocate you engage, on their terms.
Independent lawyers
Advocates on our panel are independent professionals. We do not guarantee outcomes, timelines, or that any particular lawyer will accept your matter. Fees for lawyer work are separate from any tool or connection charges we describe on the site.
Your responsibilities
- You will provide accurate information to the best of your knowledge.
- You will not misuse the site, attempt unauthorized access, or submit unlawful content.
- You understand that drafts generated online (including any AI-assisted text) require review by a qualified advocate before you rely on or issue them.
Intellectual property
Site design, branding, and original content belong to Law Connect or its licensors. You receive a limited licence to use the site for personal or legitimate business legal preparation. You retain rights to text you type into the tools.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Law Connect is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or introductions. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to the amount you paid us directly for the specific service giving rise to the claim (if any), or ₹1,000, whichever is greater.
Privacy
Our privacy policy describes how we handle personal data.
Changes
We may change these terms or the site. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at appropriate jurisdiction in India shall have exclusive subject-matter competence as per applicable law.
